Typescript and photocopy (positive) copies (3 total), with ms. notations, of Moffitt's book A new charter for monasticism. The book is an account of a meeting of monastic superiors of the Far East, held in Bangkok, Dec. 1-15, 1968, together with papers read at the meeting. Meeting sessions brought together representatives of various Far East monastic orders. Thomas Merton and Dom Jean Leclercq are included in the book. Also included is a Mar. 10, 1974, newspaper article about the author, 2 1987 obituaries of the author, an undated Report on unpublished work, an undated Bibliography of published work, and a Dec. 6, 1975, issue of the periodical America, with an article by Moffitt entitled "Who or what is a religious poet?"
